WHAT YOU CAN DO TO LOSE WEIGHT AND ACHIEVE HEALTHY BLOOD LEVELS

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO LOSE WEIGHT AND ACHIEVE HEALTHY BLOOD LEVELS

You may be wondering What is the connection between weight gain and diabetes?

Well, it turns out that excess weight can cause diabetes and conversely diabetes can cause weight gain.

So there must be a determining factor or factors behind these two conditions.

ONE PIECE OF STEAK REQUIRES THE SAME AMOUNT OF INSULIN AS HALF A POUND OF WHITE SUGAR!

TOO MUCH INSULIN SECRETION PROMOTES FAT STORAGE IN THE BODY.

The answer is high blood sugar levels and high insulin levels.

There are 2 different food groups that cause spikes in either one or the other or both.

It's common knowledge that high blood sugar levels causes diabetes. But we must also pay attention to high insulin levels.

But most diabetics have absolutely no idea what causes high insulin levels.

Most diabetics are also unaware of the fact that high blood sugar and high insulin levels leads to weight gain.

This is why many high protein and high fat diets fail to help diabetics lose excess weight.  Or why people continue to gain weight despite crazy diets and workout regimens. Their blood sugar or insulin levels are probably too high and their bodies are also full of toxins.

To prevent weight gain we must first take control of our blood sugar levels by adopting a diet geared towards lowering blood sugar and insulin levels.

If you have stubborn pounds that just wont come off read this:

FOODS THAT ELEVATE BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS

Refined and processed foods like white flour, pasta, white rice, potatoes, and sugar, cause blood sugar highs within minutes after being consumed. That's because these foods have been stripped of their fiber and nutrients, they bypass the normal digestive process, which would take time. They quickly flood the blood stream with toxic acidic sugar, causing the pancreas to produce extra insulin. Insulin's job is to take the sugar out of the blood stream and into the cells of our body. But if we're eating too much refined and processed foods then blood sugar levels will remain elevated throughout the day. And more insulin will be produced.

TOO MUCH INSULIN SECRETION PROMOTES FAT STORAGE IN THE BODY.

FOODS THAT ELEVATE INSULIN

Even worse than refined foods is animal protein. Diabetic or Obese patients are never told that eating animal protein is more harmful that refined carbs. And the reason they aren't told this is because when we eat animal protein it doesn't spike blood sugar immediately. Instead what happens when we eat meat, chicken, or fish is that the body has to pump out insane amounts of insulin to convert the amino acids into usable protein.

So eating meat/chicken/fish regularly (more than once a week) wears out the pancreas and put us at high risk for diabetes & weight gain.

The More Refined foods & ANIMAL PROTEIN we eat, the more insulin the pancreas has to pump, the more weight we'll gain.  In fact, people with pre-diabetes, diabetes, or obesity should avoid animal proteins altogether.

EXCESS BELLY FAT CAUSES DIABETES

Just as diabetes causes weight gain, excess weight causes diabetes.  The more weight we gain, even if its just an extra 10-20 pounds around the waist, that means that the pancreas has to work harder to produce enough insulin to service those extra cells. Over time, the pancreas will get worn out, and diabetes will ensue.

Belly fat (more than fat on the thighs or legs) is a warning sign that our bodies are suffering from inflammation and we may be at risk for pre-diabetes.  Belly fat also floods our internal organs with toxins, putting our liver at risk.

SO WHAT CAN WE EAT THAT WILL KEEP THE POUNDS OFF AND KEEP OUR BLOOD SUGAR STABLE?

We must eat foods high in fiber and nutrients like vegetables (cooked and raw), fruits (especially antioxidant rich organic berries), and Proper wholegrain ground BREAD (not the commercial junk). These foods provide the fiber, vitamins and minerals which balance out blood sugar levels and keep the body healthy.

Real wholegrain Bread made with ancient grains has the fiber, nutrients, vitamins and minerals that our bodies need to stay full and satisfied.

Proper Bread was a staple food for thousands of years for a reason. Bread made with ancient grains like kamut or einkorn that haven't been hybridized or genetically modified has the potential to meet up to 70% of our daily nutrient intake.

You may be wondering how you can possibly eat bread and lose weight at the same time. You've probably been told that carbs and bread are the root of all evil.

That is simply not true. Our bodies rely heavily on carbohydrates to function.* Our muscle and brain cells are designed to to run on carbohydrates. The key is to choose foods that have a high nutrient profile.

Nutrients include vitamins, minerals, and fibers. The more fiber and vitamins your food contains the longer it will take the body to digest and the more it will keep your blood sugar levels stable, thereby preventing weight gain.
